Company size moves commercial pay
Account Executive P50 moves from R$12k in small/medium companies to R$17k in large companies; Marketing Manager moves from R$23k to R$31k.
A 43-role starting-salary benchmark for foreign companies planning a Brazil team — with São Paulo P25/P50/P75 ranges and selected Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte comparisons.
For the 43 selected roles in this benchmark, São Paulo P50 starting salaries run from R$4,000/month for a junior finance/treasury analyst to R$52,000/month for a general manager. Most first-team commercial, finance, HR and technical individual-contributor roles sit well below executive leadership levels, but company size, role scope and specialization materially change the range.
The dataset is most useful for designing the first team, not for declaring one “Brazil salary.”
Account Executive P50 moves from R$12k in small/medium companies to R$17k in large companies; Marketing Manager moves from R$23k to R$31k.
General Manager P50 is R$52k/month and large-company Commercial Director P50 is R$45k, before bonus or benefits.
Inside Sales P50 is R$8k–R$9k and Account Executive P50 is R$12k–R$17k depending on company size.
São Paulo P50s include R$16k for senior full-stack, R$14k for technology product manager and R$13.5k for senior QA.
For the selected tech and finance roles, Rio or Belo Horizonte can equal or exceed São Paulo. Use city-specific evidence, not a generic discount.
Payroll taxes/contributions, 13th salary, vacation accruals, benefits, variable pay and recruiting sit outside this dataset.
Filter by function. P25/P50/P75 are source-published starting-salary positions; E2M does not interpolate missing percentiles.

P25 / P50 / P75 = gross monthly starting salary in BRL. Variable compensation, benefits and employer on-costs excluded. Company-size qualifiers are preserved where the source publishes them.
Median P50 by function across the roles selected in this benchmark. This is a derived summary of the selected role set — not an official occupational median for Brazil.
Selected roles show why E2M does not apply a blanket “São Paulo premium” or “lower-cost city discount.” City differences are role-specific.

| Finance / Treasury Manager — small/medium | R$18.400 | R$16.000 | R$18.000 |

| Junior Finance / Treasury Analyst — small/medium | R$4.000 | R$4.800 | R$4.700 |
Selected city comparisons only. E2M does not extrapolate these relationships to roles without direct city-specific evidence.
P50 base salary only. No employer contributions, statutory accruals, benefits, variable compensation or recruiting fees.
A transparent benchmark should preserve what the source actually measures and refuse false precision.
All rows are monthly gross starting-salary benchmarks; bonus, benefits and employer cost are outside scope.
No synthetic P25/P50/P75 are created when a source does not publish them.
Small/medium/large qualifiers remain part of the benchmark instead of being averaged away.
Rio and Belo Horizonte appear only for selected roles with direct city-specific evidence.
This is planning evidence. A live search, candidate scarcity and mandate can move the actual offer materially.
Independent salary benchmarks anchor role ranges; complementary 2026 guides are used for market context, not to manufacture synthetic percentiles.

Benchmark interpretation and planning boundaries.
No. They are gross monthly starting-salary benchmarks. Employer contributions, statutory accruals, benefits, variable compensation and recruiting are separate.
They are the source-published salary positions associated with increasing role readiness, experience and differentiated qualifications. They are not a guarantee for a specific candidate.
It is the main operating base for many foreign-company entry teams and is where E2M has the strongest current role coverage. Other cities are added only when reliable city-specific benchmarks exist.
Not automatically. Compensation should reflect mandate, seniority, language requirements, scarcity, variable pay, company brand, work model and the candidate market.
No. The selected Rio and Belo Horizonte comparisons show that the direction and size of city differences vary by role.
